Natural Composition DSP Box and Card

For my stamp clubs this month, we used the Natural Composition DSP.  We made a square matchbox with a piece of brayered Natural Compostion DSP.  Then we stamped some flower flourishes from the Flowering Flourishes stamp set on some flowers from the Floral Frames Framelits and then crinkled them up and added a small scallop circle on top.

For the card we stamped the large flowering flourish on the card and the medium one on the flowers punched out from the bouquet punch and again added a punched out scallop circle to the middle of the flower.  We used the aqua painter and some wisteria wonder ink to add color to the Natural Compositions DSP and Just Because from the Vintage Verses stamp set.

Bloomin' Marvelous Card and Madison Avenue Bookmark

Here are the last of the sale-a-bration projects I have to share with you.  These are from a party that I had last week with 21 guests!  My friend Gloriane always has great parties with great carefully and beautifully made desserts - chewy caramel brownies, sweet cream puffs, little lemon tarts, and delicious one serving cheesecakes in shot glasses with a raspberry on top.  Each dessert was amazing.

It was a fun evening!  The first card we made with the Bloomin' Marvelous sale-a-bration set.  I used the Oval Framelits and some of the Sycamore Street DSP and the coordinating ribbon and added the butterfly with the new small butterfly punch.

The next project we made was a cute bookmark using the Two Tags die and the Madison Avenue sale-a-bration stamp set.  I embossed the cover with the Vine Street embossing folder and we added some rich razzleberry ribbon.

Stay tuned!  I will share the last project we made at the party tomorrow!

Vintage Verses Card

My favorite sale-a-bration set is the Vintage Verses set.  I saw this card on Shelli's blog and loved the layout and colors.  I love her simple and elegant style.  And I have really grown to like the Summer Starfruit in color.  :)

Chalkboard Cards

Sorry for the hiatus but I've been busy with sickness, sick kids, sick spouse, and kid's sports - school soccer, comp soccer, swim team....but I'm back up and running and I have a lot of cards and projects to share with you!  This first set is from last month's stamp clubs.  We made some cards using the chalkboard technique.  For these first two cards I used the Vintage Verses sale-a-bration set.  Sale-a-bration is over for this year, but I thought it would be fun to share them anyway.

The chalkboard technique is easy to do.  Just start with dark cardstock - black is best and use whisper white craft ink and a white watercolor pencil.  Then add some smudges with a sponge dauber and whisper white craft ink to finish off the look.

I used the Feel Goods stamp set for the next card with some flowers cut from the flower trim ribbon and colored with a sponge dauber in Rich Razzleberry.

For the last card, I used the "Hello, Hello" single stamp set and made a banner using the Pennant Punch.
